Unlike the pineapple corer, this one cores the fruit differently. In fact, it’s much easier because the apple is a smaller fruit and it does not require the corer to be twisted all the way to the bottom. Simply stick the corer in the midsection of an apple and push it all the way through. The seeds and the unwanted bits of an apple will be intact in the corer which can be easily removed by opening the mouth of the corer.
It can also be used to core a pear.
