How to Properly Eat a Pickle Right Out of the Jar


In my opinion, there is a proper utensil to eat everything. To eat noodles, you can either use a fork or a pair of chopsticks. To eat ice-cream, you can use a teaspoon or a tablespoon. To eat a nice piece of steak, you need to use a fork and a sharp steak knife.

However, when it comes to eating pickles right of the jar, there isn’t any proper utensil invented to get the job done. You can use a fork but most forks are not sharp enough to easily pierce into a pickle. A toothpick, on the other hand, is actually a good way to eat pickles right of the jar because it’s sharp, however, you won’t be able to reach the pickles that are at the bottom of the jar. A wooden skewer can also do the job well, but then again, it’s not meant for pickles.

This product right here is meant for eating pickles right out of the jar. While it’s not really considered a utensil, I would like to crown it with the word “utensil” – simply because it deserves it. What I like about it specifically beside its long handle and sharp-pointed heads, is the holder. The holder can be fixed onto any pickle jar so that when you are done having some pickles, you can just place the utensil into the holder and not worry about the pickle juice dripping in the fridge (the holder has enough room to catch the drippings and can be washed later on when you think it’s time).

It can also be used to eat olives right out of the jar.
