One of the common devices that are used to remove the flesh of a watermelon is a melon baller. The melon baller allows you to remove the watermelon flesh in the form of balls.
This device, on the other hand, removes the watermelon flesh in the form of cubes – which is why I call it the melon cuber (although it’s real name is called the Watermelon Slicer). It’s very easy to use it, cut a watermelon into four pieces and then push this device forward from the flesh-end of the fruit. Push it all the way to the hard skin side and you will get around 4 to 5 cubes.
However, the watermelon is round in shape which makes it impossible to get cubes out of the whole fruit. Due to that fact, this product also comes with a melon baller and a penknife so that you can wipe out the fruit without leaving a single flesh behind.
