The World’s Most Expensive Cookbook
Published in 1972, this book written by comedy writer Jack Douglas features only a single page about Japanese cooking which makes its title very misleading. But it’s innocent until proven guilty which means that it can still be considered a cookbook. And considering it’s $89.90 price (hardcover priced at $220) for only a single page about cooking, that makes it the most expensive cookbook in the world.
